My father came out carrying this big box wrapped in silver (my favorite color) paper My 7 year old eyes grew as big a dinner plated and I tore open the wrapper THERE IT WAS my first atari 2600 when I opened the box I also discovered a pacman and a space invaders cartridge I was exstatic I did a backflip (I was in gymnastcs at the time) and ran to my father to get him to hook it up. a few minutes later I was blasting aliens and gobbling ghosts. I played all day and didn't even look at my other presents. The nest day I recieved even more games BREAKOUT and super BREAKOUT, OUTLAW a wild west game and VIDEO OLYMPICS I got 2 to 4 new games every week from friends the store etc.... 3 years later I got a coleco vision I played donkey kong but I got it for my favortie arcade game to this day MR DO's CASTLE I would play that game for hours I played so much that I would find my self humming the background music to the game even to this day I will occasionlly hum the music to mr do's castle I even have it in MIDI format on my computer the only classic computer I ever owned was a Jupiter Ace an oddysey like computer with a few good arcade conversiond of games like pacman and space invaders jump to the present.....
