It all started in the early to mid 80's. I was young and one day, my dad bought a computer. He had maybe 3 games, and he got tired of me hogging it, so one day he came home with a cheap, used, Atari 2600. I instantly became ecstatic! I was overwhelmed with joy. I spent my days (other than school) trying to best my scores in Pacman, and in this game with a road-crossing chicken. Then the tragedy struck me with the force of a mac truck. My 2600 had died!! For years, i lived an incomplete life. Then, my mom got a job, so I was forced to go to a nasty babysitter. I was old enough to take care of myself, but good old mom. While at the babysitter, I expirienced the joy of NES, and about 20 games. I loved Batman, Mario, but my favorites were Punchout and later Little Nemo. The years passed, and in time I got my own NES, as well as all the next-gen systems, but recently, I have started collecting NES games. Now I have about 12, which is not much, but hey, I burned my earnings on other stuff to. Now i am looking for a copy of Punchout, Megaman, Double Dragon III, as well as others. I will never forget my "80's experiences" with video games. After all, it turned me into the game freak I am today.
