Ah, the hours spent with my legs falling totally asleep and my hand all knotted up into Atari Thumb. I was really depressed when my Atari 2600 kicked the bucket in 1991. I've only recently discovered the wonderful world of emulators. I have a great Atari story-- I won an Atari 2600 out of a box of Cap'n Crunch in the fall of 1982! The cereal box came from my local market, and the contest was almost over by the time I discovered it. Wow, that was the greatest moment of my life. 7 years old, on top of the world. My favorite games were Cosmic Ark, Atlantis, Riddle of the Sphinx, Raiders of the Lost Ark (which took me 2 years to win!) and Berzerk. Anyway, I sent the little prize certificate in, and I had to have it notarized and in triplicate and everything, (getting something xeroxed was a very big deal in my hometown in the sticks!) and the Atari was delivered directly to me via UPS. No, I never won anything again, except a profoundly ugly T-shirt in the Sprite cap game last summer. Again, thank you for a great site. I especially love the TV interface. :) Mary C.
