This thing was called SCHMIDT TVG 2000 and was distributed by large book clubs (an early German version of the order-by-mail thing: Evangelische Buchgemeinschaft, now a daughter of the Bertelsmann/BMG group) and a widely known chain of coffee stores (Tchibo). I personally got the TVG 2000 through the book club and soon found out that the Hanimex games (which were easier to get) were compatible, once a small plastic plug was cut off. As I remember the games graphics were much clearer and more colourfull than those of the VCS and the games my friends at school owned. Are there any tech specs available? The system was my start into the games industry and I would be glad if you would know an emulator for this. I still have 9 cartridges out of 10 I once owned. The best of all games was surely Jump Bug (which I unfortunately sold). If anyone has a used (working system), e-mail me. Take care Stefan
